About Rums

RUMS is the Students’ Union for Medical Students at UCL Medical School and the home to the best damn Medical Students in the world!

The Royal Free, University College, and Middlesex Medical Students’ Society (RUMS) is dedicated to providing a fantastic student experience at UCL Medical School. By overseeing the Huntley Street bar, running several large events a year, providing welfare support, representing you to College, running your campaigns, and making sure your clubs remain independent, RUMS is run by students, for students!

RUMS is overseen by RUMS Executive, a board of elected student representatives, which meets every three weeks to discuss issues that come up from the Union, Medical School, or organisations such as the BMA. Projects are managed and campaigns are planned.

Officers also report back to you on what they are doing for you, and make sure you come to our Open Forums and Annual General Meeting (AGM) to give your feedback on how we’re doing!

Remember, RUMS is not just a Union, it’s a lifestyle.
